The kingdom of God grows on earth by the power of God's justifying righteousness in our hearts
Christ gives us the light of the gospel not only for ourselves, but to preach it to others too
Christ came to destroy Satan's kingdom that we might turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God
Those who sat in darkness have seen a great light
The gospel must be preached everywhere, for in it the righteousness of God that justifies is revealed
The task of the twelve apostles is to preach Christ and his saving death to people of every culture and religion
The mission of the Church is to try to evangelize and convert people of every culture and religion
A Christian should fast in a new way, different from the Jews of the Old Testament
Jesus is the lamb of sacrifice by whom the remission of our sins is effected
Jesus calls us to leave all and follow him, and he transforms the life of all that do so
The deepest wounds of our soul are healed by Christ's forgiving word
Jesus transforms our life by a simple word of command
Repentance and faith are the two essential responses to the new age of messianic fulfillment that Jesus has inaugurated
In his baptism, Jesus is anointed by the Father to be the propitiatory sacrifice for our sins
No one who abides in Christ sins; no one who sins has either seen him or known him
This is the victory that overcomes the world, our faith
Jesus will bring release to the captives and set at liberty those who are oppressed
From that time Jesus began to preach, saying, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand"
Where is he who has been born King of the Jews? For we have seen his star in the East, and have come to worship him
Should we use words to try to convince people that Jesus alone saves us from our sins?
