Mary of Bethany anoints Jesus' body for his death, which saves us from our sins
Christ bore our sins in his flesh on the cross to suffer our death sentence for them for us to save us from our sins
It is expedient for you that one man should die for the people, and that the whole nation should not perish
Jesus was persecuted and called a blasphemer for telling the truth, backed up by proofs, of who he is
Jesus Christ will inherit the throne of his father David and will reign over the house of Jacob forever
Jesus demands genuine repentance of the woman caught in adultery and then forgives her
Jesus is troubled because he will suffer the wrath of God against the sins of the world
Christ causes division among people, for some accept him, while others reject him
Jesus was begotten by the Holy Spirit to save his people from their sins
Christ came with so many verifiable visible proofs that he is who he claims to be that those that reject him do so because the love of God and his word are not in them
Faith in Jesus is believing that he is the Messiah and Savior of the world, not just wanting to see miracles
God so loved the world that gave us a way to be saved: belief in his only Son
Trust in our good works will get us nowhere with God if we are seeking to be justified by him because of them
The two great commandments describe a totally new way of life which one enters into when he puts his faith in Christ
Jesus' exorcisms testify that the kingdom of God has arrived in him
Jesus was not discouraged by the lack of faith in his hometown, but continued preaching the gospel throughout Galilee
Would Jesus, who cleansed the temple of unworthy behavior, approve of the way we behave in our churches today?
God has great joy in welcoming with open arms and totally forgiving sinners that genuinely repent and return to him
How many that call themselves Christians today reject the cornerstone of our salvation?
Dedicating ourselves to a voluptuous life of worldly pleasures is the path to hell
