Out of all the Old Testament commandments Jesus picks love of God and neighbor as the two great commandments
If the Jews could interpret the weather, why couldn’t they interpret that their times were the messianic age?
We must render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s
The kingdom of God is taken from the Jews for rejecting it and is given to the Gentiles who accept it with faith
It is better to have faith in Christ and put it into practice than to be his mother
The kingdom of God was taken from Israel, because of their unfaithfulness, and given to Jewish and Gentile believers in Christ
The disciples are not to rejoice so much in their missionary success as in their own salvation
The Pharisees, who made a big show of being super religious, did not do God’s will, because they rejected both John the Baptist and their Messiah
